Well, apparently it’s not the newspaper anymore. As a culture we have completely shifted away from something we once thought was essential to our way of life. It was our window into the world.

Most of the people in America are in agreement on one thing right now: our national economy is a mess. Those who keep tabs on the land markets across the country would share that sentiment for recreational and timberland tracts.

The 2011 LandThink Summit held at Gwinnett Center in Georgia on September 29th was a great success. I, along with several colleagues, and many land-industry friends attended the event this year.
