LANDTHINK Pulse: Land Listing Websites a Top Resource for Buyers

Last month, we posed the question to our audience: When searching land for sale, where are you most likely to begin your search? LANDTHINK.com, an authoritative online resource for advice, knowledge, opinions and trends related to land, is excited to announce the January Pulse results. Our informal online survey revealed that a land listing website was the first place buyers turn when beginning a search for land. The result comes as no surprise, since recent real estate industry surveys have revealed that more than 85% of buyers begin their search for property online. A well-designed land listing website with quality content, is an valuable tool at the disposal of both buyers and sellers. Buyers can easily locate acreage for sale, farms and ranches, homes located on acreage, as well as hunting, timberland and recreational properties. Top land listing websites even offer advanced search features and mapping tools that allow buyers to focus only on those properties that fit the bill. A total 34.4% of respondents felt that a land listing website was a key resource when beginning their journey to land ownership.

LANDTHINK subscribers, fans, followers and land industry professionals across the country voiced their opinion on where they would most likely to begin their search for land. Here’s a breakdown of the overall results:
