In his most recent video on LANDTHINK, Pat Porter, with RecLand Realty, explained why you do not need a real estate license to become a successful land investor. In Part 2, Pat provides a few examples of when having a real estate license can be advantageous to a land investor.
If you are able to devote the time and energy, getting a real estate license can be a way to increase both investments and your income. Getting a real estate license can leverage your time by allowing for independent property searches, faster deal analysis, and quick, direct offers. You can also earn commission on your own transaction, which can save you thousands of dollars per deal, and those savings can be reinvested into more properties.
As Pat explains, land investors may find that getting a real estate license is an excellent way to create an additional revenue stream, find more deals before they hit the market, and learn more about the business of land investing.
